Blue Birds and other cavity nesting birds love mealworms. The worms
are a good source of protein and fat. Our feeder is constructed
of Western Cedar and features many unique features. A 1-1/2 inch
opening is on the two ends panels with a metal predator plate to
keep squirrels from gnawing away at the opening. The side panels
are 3/32 Aluminum perforated with ¼ inch holes for venting
a viewing the birds while feeding. One side drops down to easily
fill the feeder. A plastic cup with moisture drains holds the mealworms
and can be removed for cleaning. The entire assembly (feeder) can
be pole or post mounted. This feeder will last for years!
