The Barred Owl is very common owl and often can
be seen hunting in daytime. Our nest box is all Cedar wood construction
with a 7-inch entry hole. The box in vented, has drains and a side
clean out door. Nesting material is included. Mount this box high
in a tree in dense woodlands with sparse undergrowth. This owl is
a non-migratory bird. The Eastern Screech Owl is less than half
the size of a Barred Owl!
